I’m Ellen, the Founder and face behind the phone at Little Moments Social.

I have always had a passion for people and togetherness. Having lived across all three provinces, I consider myself a true Maritimer at heart.

My love for social media started early (think Piczo, Vine, and Picnik days) and over the past eleven years has grown into a career spanning public relations, media, marketing, and communications. From leading large retail rebrands, managing communications for Halifax Regional Council in City Hall, to working backstage with celebrity talents in the music & entertainment industry, my experiences have shaped my ability to read the room, lead with kindness, and understand what others need. This approach is what allows me to thrive serving couples on days as important as their wedding—capturing and delivering memories that reflect what makes your celebration truly unique and special.

While looking back, I realize I have been creating content on a personal level all along, the idea for this venture came about at a best friend’s wedding. I couldn’t resist from capturing the moments in motion of her special weekend as her primary video source on her day. I continued capturing content at more of my friends’ weddings and received heartening feedback, encouraging me launch in October 2023 and pursue what is now Little Moments Social.

As much joy as I get out of bopping around as a personal paparazzi, I appreciate that my wedding clients are inviting me into their circle on one of the most intimate days of their lives. Because of this, I take pride in having an adaptable and considerate approach to shooting content.

I deeply cherish and understand the sentimental value that exists within a single moment. My aim with Little Moments Social is to seek each of these out for you to re-live right away and to smile back on forever.
